Painted or unpainted ?

Any overhaul refurbishment work we carry out on a clients window will be left with a base coat or primer. Not bare wood. You can then either paint the windows yourself or let us take care of this for you for at an extra cost.

Our painters have years of experience in painting sash windows. This is invaluable, as painting the wrong parts at the wrong time can cause the windows to stick fast and damage any draught proofing systems previously installed. This is usually the make or break part to a high quality refurbishment. The sash window design needs the top and bottom sashes to slide freely after painting. Our specialist paint and lubricant system will ensure good opening for years to come.

You can expect to re-paint the exterior of your sash windows every 5 years, depending on the conditions.
